NEW! Christmas Cards 2009

Bearing a reproduction of the frontispiece from the famed woodcut series The Life of the Virgin by Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528), these cards are unique in their inclusion of a Latin text from the liturgy proper to the feast (with English translation on overleaf). Printed in black on fine cream-colored stock with accent of border in crimson; matching envelopes. These cards are reserved in appearance – a welcome contrast to the commericalism that secularizes so many modern-day observances of this great feast.
Translation of Latin text for the 2008 Christmas cards: “The Mother brought forth the King, Whose name is called The Eternal; the joy of a Mother was hers, remaining a Virgin unsullied. Neither before nor henceforth hath there been or shall be such another, alleluia.” [Antiphon at Lauds of Christmas Day]
