SGS News - The Feast of Christ the King

*The Feast of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King
Sunday, 30 October: Solemn Mass and Benediction of the
Blessed Sacrament at 2:00 P.M., to be celebrated by
The Rev. John Ringley, St. Lawrence Church, Shelton.
Music for the service sung by the Chant Schola of the
Saint Gregory Society, will include the “Missa Marialis” Ordinary
(Vatican Edition IX/X), the plainsong Hymns “Vexilla Regis”
and “Te saeculorum Principem,” and the Gregorian chants
of the feast. The second offering will be for the benefit
of the Saint Gregory Society.

*All Saints Day
Tuesday, 1 November: Low Mass at 5:30 p.m., to be celebrated
by The Rev. Stanley Miekina, St. Stanislaus Church.

*All Souls Day
Wednesday, 2 November: Solemn Requiem Mass at 5:30 p.m.,
to be celebrated by The Rev. Dennis Kolinski, SJC
(Canons Regular of St. John Cantius, presently stationed
at Holy Apostles Seminary). Music for the service will be
sung by the Chant Schola of the Saint Gregory Society.

*Twenty-first Sunday after Pentecost
Sunday, 6 November: High Mass at 2:00 P.M., to be celebrated
by The Rev. Matthew Mauriello, St. Roch Church , Greenwich.
Music for the service sung by the Chant Schola of the
Saint Gregory Society, will include the “Missa Orbis Factor”
Ordinary (Vatican Edition XI), the plainsong Anthems “O Quam
glorifica” and “O Sacrum Convivium,” and the Gregorian chants
of the feast. The second offering will be for the benefit
of St. Stanislaus Church.
