SGS NEWS - The Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary to be observed in festive service

*As the 25th Jubilee Year of the Saint Gregory Society
continues, this Sunday, October 3, Solemn Mass
will be offered at St. Stanislaus Church in New Haven
in observance of The Feast of the
Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary

The principal celebrant will be the Rev. John Pikulski.

Music for the service sung by the full Schola Cantorum
of the Saint Gregory Society, will include Giovanni
Pierluigi da Palestrina’s Missa Ave Regina caelorum,
motets by Josquin DesPrez and Clemens non Papa,
and the Gregorian chants of the day. The second
offering will be for the benefit of the St. Stanislas
Parish. Please plan to attend this festive service with
family and friends

* Eighteenth Sunday after Pentecost
Sunday, 26 September: Low Mass at 2:00 P.M., to be
celebrated by the Rev. Arthur Dupont. The second offering
will be for the benefit of the Saint Gregory Society.

*The Most Holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary
Sunday, 3 October: Solemn Mass at 2:00 P.M.,
to be celebrated by the Rev. John Pikulski.
Music for the service sung by the Schola Cantorum

Sunday, 12 September: Low Mass at 2:00 P.M., to be celebrated
by the Rev. Vito DeCarolis. The second offering will be
for the benefit of the Saint Gregory Society.

*The Exaltation of the Holy Cross
Sunday, 19 September: Solemn Mass at 2:00 P.M.,
to be celebrated by the Rev. John Ringley, St. Lawrence
Church, Shelton. Music for the service sung by the Chant
Schola of the Saint Gregory Society, will include the
“Missa Dominicalis” Ordinary (Vatican Edition XI),
the antiphon “O Crux, splendidior cunctis astris,”
the hymn “Vexilla Regis” and the Gregorian chants of the
east. The second offering will be for the benefit
of the Saint Gregory Society. Please plan to attend
this festive service, which opens the fall season
of the ongoing observance of the Saint Gregory
Society’s 25th Jubilee Year.
