SGS NEWS - Pentecost Services to conclude Forty Hours’ Devotion

Sunday, 23 May, at 3:00 p.m. Solemn Mass and Vespers
to be celebrated by the Rev. Stanley Miekena, St. Stanislaus
Church. Please note the change of time–3:00 pm.
Don’t miss this grand occasion on which the services
of Mass and Vespers in the traditional form will be followed
by a Procession and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament
that will conclude the St. Stanislaus Parish observation
of Forty Hours’ Devotion to the Blessed Sacrament.
Music for the service, sung by the full Schola Cantorum
of the Saint Gregory Society, will include include
Palestrina’s Missa Lauda Sion, motets by Palestrina
and Gabrieli and the proper Gregorian chants of
the day for Mass and Vespers.
