SGS NEWS - The First Sunday of Advent

Friday, November 27th, 2009

*The First Sunday of Advent
Sunday, 29 November. High Mass at 2:00 pm to be
celebrated by The Rev. Richard Cipolla (St. Mary’s Church,
Norwalk). Music for the service to be performed by the
Chant Schola of the Society will include the “Missa Orbis
Factor” (Vatican Edition Mass XI); the plainsong hymn “Creator
alme siderum” the Advent prose “Rorate caeli desuper” and the
proper Gregorian chants of the day.

* The Second Sunday of Advent
Sunday, December 6, at 2:00 pm. Low Mass.
Celebrant to be announced.
