Dear Friend of the Saint Gregory Society,

Mark your calendars: there will be a sung Mass with the full
Schola Cantorum on Gaudete Sunday, December 16th. As of
today, the music will include Victoria’s Missa Ave maris stella,
and motets by Phillips and Guerrero. Further details will be
forthcoming next week. Can you think of a better way to mark
the halfway point of Advent? Please join us for the occasion!

Also, details about the Mass for the feast of the Immaculate
Conception will be published early next week.

Our schedule for the next two Sundays is as follows:

* First Sunday of Advent
Sunday, December 2nd. High Mass at 2pm, to be celebrated
by Fr. Richard Cipolla (St. Mary’s, Norwalk). The chant Schola
will sing Mass XVII (for Sundays in Advent and Lent), plainsong
hymns, and all of the proper Gregorian chants. The second
collection is for the benefit of Sacred Heart Church (monthly
utilities).

* Second Sunday of Advent
Sunday, December 9th. Low Mass at 2pm, to be celebrated
by Fr. John Ringley (St. Lawrence, Shelton).

ALL MASSES TAKE PLACE IN SACRED HEART CHURCH,
NEW HAVEN (COLUMBUS AVENUE AT LIBERTY STREET,
NEAR UNION STATION).
