SGS News Extra - Martin Mosebach on the “Heresy of Formlessness” - FINAL REMINDER

Dear Friend of the Saint Gregory Society,

This is a final reminder of our special event this Friday, September
7th. For all the details, see the earlier posts on our website. Don’t
miss this opportunity to learn about one of the best books on the
subject of the Church’s traditional liturgy! And don’t worry if you’re
not a theologian or an expert — this book was written with normal lay
Catholics in mind, people like you and me!

Please take note of the unusual time and place: 7:30pm at St. Mary’s
Church Hall, 5 Hillhouse Avenue, New Haven. The entrance to the Hall
is on the side of the Church. There is also an elevator a few steps
from there, through the door which faces Hillhouse Avenue.

On-street parking is free in the city after 7:00pm. The best places
for this will be Hillhouse Avenue, Temple Street, Trumbull Street, and
Grove Street. You can also park for free in any Yale University lot.
One of these is on Trumbull Street between Hillhouse and Temple. A bit
further (about three blocks) is the Grove Street Garage, at 65 Grove
Street:

We will have a number of copies of Mr. Mosebach’s book as well as some
copies of Fr. Lang’s book for sale at the presentation. To make things
easier for us and to encourage you to take a copy home, we will sell
them each at “rounded prices” which represent a slight discount on the
list prices: $15 for “Heresy of Formlessness” and $10 for “Turning
Toward the Lord”. The proceeds will go to support the work of the
Society of Saint Hugh of Cluny, ensuring that they can continue to
sponsor more events of this nature in the future.

We hope to see you on Friday!!!
